Guest Rider

Guest Rider hint: whose jeans are almost always too short for her long legs?

Guest Rider

Yep, it's Paint Girl! I had my sister ride My Boy two weekends ago, so that I could play with my camera settings and practice my picture taking, but with my own horse as my subject. Here are a few of the resulting pictures.

As you can see, I like filming pieces of my horse. I rarely shot his whole self!

Thanks Paint Girl, hope you enjoyed your ride!

Aha! These are the pictures I have been waiting to see! Now how am I supposed to critique my riding, when all I see is a spotted butt, a pretty face (the boys, not mine!) and boots? Just kiddin'!
Love the pictures, they are beautiful, as always!
Oh, and I enjoyed riding your boy, it's been a long time! Once he figured out I wasn't a beginner, and was going to make him WORK, he did very well!

Beautiful pictures! I LOVE the second one!

They look pretty good together, they have matching manes! Your pictures keep getting better. I may have you take some pictures of me when you come up to use for my blog. If I have a professional photographer maybe I can get a decent shot of me!

While I do like seeing all of your boy at once, I prefer the cropped, close up shots of the details! So dramatic! Great job!

Really, really, really nice pics. Really. Love the colour. What time of day did you shoot?

Nice legs BTW Paint Girl! Always amazes me how different Aussie and American leather gear is. Wonder if anyone has ever studied why it's so? Hmmm.

Oooh I love these. Your sister is a beautiful rider.
How can you not want to photograph your boy? His coloring is grabs your attention in any pictures.
Those are so fun! Course I am partial to any horsey shots.

I like the second one as well. You could create a puzzle of all the parts of your spotted boy :)

Excellent PG! I like the "parts" too, they're much more artistic. ;)

Question: Where did you get your reins? I like them a lot! :D

Pretty headset, too :)

{Mudranch}~ The reins and slobber straps are from Ken McNabb Horsemanship. He has a website: http://www.kenmcnabb.com/tackshop/product_info.php?products_id=30&osCsid=a8210b2kn9o6b6n4ukstm8bgj7

They are reasonably priced. Paint Girl has them in black for her mares. They are great for training and trail riding as they are one loop and I tend to drop reins, LOL!

WOW Nice job! You are good, really good! Do you feel like sharing what you like for software/photo editing?
I think photography is a constant classroom of it's own. I know professional photographers that say they are always learning. Keep up with the shooting!
